| Sorry Jeff, old habits die hard. Cat has always been a nickname for catalyc converters on vehicles, since they are new to motorcycles I am sure it will catch on soon.

| I wonder if they check for cats when they do inspections here, I hope not. Seems like something that generates as much heat as a cat would make riding a bike miserable hot in the summer.

| I just changed the mufflers on my 08 EGC to the Rush Slash cuts with the 1.75 baffle and did not have to remap or change anything.......they sound good and the damn temperature of the bike dropped way down by getting rid of the damn catalytic mufflers.............
