Well, just spotted this in the paper this morning. Sent it to the "State Captain".
Looks like we have "Mission #2" info...

We lost another one here locally.
LA PUENTE - Army Maj. Doug LaBouff, born and raised in La Puente, was killed Sunday in Iraq in a helicopter crash, according to La Puente City Councilwoman Lola Storing.
Storing said LaBouff was scheduled to return home to Colorado Springs from Iraq in February.
He was a graduate of Bishop Amat High School.
LaBouff's age has not yet been confirmed, but Storing said he was in his 40s and is survived by his wife.
Services will be held for LaBouff at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Puente. A date has not yet been scheduled.

It looks like they closed the subject. I used to read thier site often, till they started with the berets and then the fireman then the police and I felt they were just getting carried away and lost track of thier original mission....Hopefully they get back on track.

Who else here is a member? I signed up and I belive in the cause..I just cant get into all the other stuff they are talking about, like wearing berets and such..... If they(the WBC) shows up here in my area, I will be there....
Berets???
Randy, I've never heard anything about Berets. I'd personally feel like an idiot wearing one.
But, let me give ya a "Heads Up" on the arm-bands. They're not that big. I don't have a real big bicep. I can't get the arm-band around mine very well. They're only 16.5" long. Measure your bicep before you buy one...

I hope that none of us is needed to make a mission again.
But, that chuch puts out a lot of misinformation about where they're going to be...

| You're lucky, no missions in your neck of the woods yet. It's a pretty moving experience...
