This is a 1999 blue/silver dyna wide glide that is being sold for a friend. The bike is in exceptional shape with only one notable issue: (clutch lever chrome is flaking) This could be replaced at minimal cost. The pictures show that the bike is in great shape and has low mileage. this bike also comes with an extra set of drag bars, and a trailer for free!

Its a 1983 Ironhead sporster motor on a wideglide frame. Harley Davidson put these together when they were changing ownership, to use up all the parts they could. It runs and rides great. No problems. starts right up. Lots of chrome!
I put everything chrome on it, that I could find. Reg good till April 2008.
Only selling because I need to move my family to a new place. unexpectedly.

This bike is in great shape. It was purchased while I was stationed in Georgia but, do to an injury suffered in Iraq, I was never able to ride it. The bike needs some minor motor work and needs to be registered. Call me anytime for details or come by to see it.

Hell Marc, we never know when we're gonna get inspected. They have machines here now that they've been setting up on freeway on ramps that not only check how much you're polluting, they snap a picture of your license plate too...
Normally though, we get inspected every 2 years after a car/truck is over 5 years old. They do a visual and a sniffer while you're on a dyno...

When I bought mine, all the smog stuff was gone. I didn't need an inspection on it when I changed the title over.
But, "if" or more likely "when", they decide to smog bikes, I may have to get all that crap and put it back on... That sux...We got inspection every 4 years back here...2008 is my year...Glad I have the stock pipes boxed in the basement...I may need them...

| Question??? What happens if you are a CA citizen and buy a late model non-California (2000) bike in another state??? Do you have to upgrade it to CA specs to be compliant??? Does the same apply to cars???

Yeah Weasle. Its a mandatory thing by the state. Been in place for a long time. Before mine was made even.
Most are disconnected/removed. Gonna be a real bitch if/when they decide to test our bikes like they do cars...
