We've had over 10 inches of rain in 3 days! The creek behind my house has come up 20 feet and is 200 feet wide. There were several rescues yesterday and last night, some people just don't fear driving into water. No wind here just lots of water, Bull Shoals lake came up over 9 feet! That's a hell of a lot of water in that big pond. Makes the ferry boat ride a bit longer My daughter wants to go ride it if it stops raining, they let her drive!

National Weather Service Posts Flood, Flash Flood Warnings From Texas To Ohio
POSTED: 11:30 pm PDT March 18, 2008
UPDATED: 5:50 am PDT March 19, 2008
Authorities near Dallas are still searching for a 14-year-old who they believe was swept down a creek drainage pipe by floodwaters during yesterday's heavy storms.
Authorities in Mesquite, Texas, said the teenager was playing with a friend near the creek when he was carried away by the rising waters.
The National Weather Service says more than six inches of rain fell on parts of Dallas Tuesday.
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is expecting a backlog of stranded passengers Wednesday after the storms canceled hundreds of flights. Airport officials are telling travelers to be patient as airlines rebuild their schedules. There have been more cancellations Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has posted flood and flash flood warnings from Texas to Ohio, with tornado watches in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
The storm is blamed for two deaths in Missouri, parts of which could get 10 inches of rain or more before the storms finally stop Wednesday. About 300 of the 900 homes in Piedmont were evacuated. Dozens of people were rescued by boats.
In Arkansas, authorities searched for a man whose truck was believed to have been swept from a low-water bridge.

LMAO. Consider that dose of gulf water a gift from us. Best guess is we got a total of around 8 inches from yesterday morning to this morning.
