Had a conversation with my son on Saturday something like that. He's a Quality Manager at a big beef packing house in Kansas City. Been doing it for a couple of years. I've been a Quality Specialist for several years and haven't worked "the Line" for about 20. (aircraft) There's a lot to be said about the days when I'd come home exhausted because I was physically beat. I'd busted my ass and had something to show for it. I don't get those days too often now sitting behind a desk and a computer.

There's a lot to be said for a sense of accomplishment. I'd love to be able to make a living (like I do now) mowing lawns. Kudos to the guys that gave up bein' a cop to mow lawns.
