With the price of oil this high they say it is worth it now...There was also something on the news yesterday about how the high price of oil is helping the tar sand projects in the US and Canada...Years ago low oil prices made oil extraction from tar sand to expensive...I guess high prices are here to stay...

It's based on futures, like orange juice. If someone freaks out, the market follows and the price goes up. Since the price of crude is up, there has been lots and lots of drilling and reclaiming old wells in this area. There is an old guy in Oklahoma that has 3 wells on his land that he shut down quite a few years ago because "It cost more in electrucity to pump it out than you get for the oil". Since the price went up on crude, he is back to pumping it out again.

$3.05 hard earned after tax dollars in the tundra!.................its about $10.00 a gallon for bottled water at the store. You can snag a can of Fosters for $3.00, and it will last as long as it takes to burn a gallon of gas.....
by the way, my F250 has sat idle for about 2 years now....I burn a tank a year to keep the gas fresh and the thing somewhat exercised.
A mediam malt at the DQ is $3.00 now.
