Weasle Ship it on down I can fix it..........The frame is just a little bent , but thats a great truck..................

| It looked like it crunched the front end all the way back to the fire wall about... Glad you lived to tell about it! Was a nice truck it looked like.

| randy wouldnt be here if i was on the bike ,LOL. marc, i was doin 60mph when i locked it up, aint sure how fast i was going when i hit it , but hadent been for the seat belt i wouldnt be here telling about it.

LOL, empty , i sure did a number on it , was supposed to ride in a biker friends funeral the next day , couldint get my leg over the saddle , missed the funeral.

I owned two minitrucks in my life, and really enjoyed them. Both were 4 cylinders, and would pull a small trailer. You could seat 3 very snug....2 guys and a lady on a lap...course that was OK. Paid $6000 new....my F250 in 1997 cost $28,000. Today they are probably around $40k or more. I will have the 250 for the rest of my unemployed life, and doubt I will ever replace it. As for cars......I look at cars as tools for transportation......they don't excite me like they did when I was 18.......I wouldn't waste my money on an expensive car......however if I were rich maybe a used lambo would be fun. I spend all my spare cash on tin foil.

I do know what you mean about cars. Not many out there that do much for me. But, If I could afford to do it, I'd love to have an '07 Mustang GT500...

Carl, That's why I drive a mini-truck. I don't haul stuff that often. But, when I do, I need a truck. Used to drive an F250 (390 CID, Automatic, 3:73 gears, 2 X 20 gallon tanks) and the bed was empty 95-percent of the time. I loved the truck. But, it only did 11 mpg on a good day with a tailwind...

| I have an F250 with 4.11 gears..........even in overdrive, I can't hit 10 MPG hauling anything. I average 8 MPG. It has 2 gas tanks! The last time I drove it was in the fall to burn up old gas, fill it and change the oil. It sits in the garage to be used when I have to haul something. I really like that truck, but now drive a minivan that gets about 25 MPG. Driving a pickup is not practical unless you use the bed.

My cousin had to rent a Suburban to get his workers home from a job in Kentucky, he said the new Chevy V8's are now getting over 25 mpg on the highway because the engine shuts off 4 cylinders when there is no load.
Really? I didn't know that...
That's better than my Nissan truck gets. I only do about 22 mpg with it, 4-cyl, 5-speed... It is still the same crappy mileage in town, once you get to highway speeds and pull your foot out of it, the 4 cylinders will shut off.
