| Knowing the dealers around here, minor damage to a bike is $4000.00 plus they picked it up.......add another $500.00.............

| jeff , tell your B-L to see if the HD dealer will replace any of the parts with screamin eagle rather than oem . i know it sounds crazy , but when my ex son in law hit a deer with his sporter , the SE pipes and some other parts were actually cheaper than the oem.

| Harley of Louisville come and got bro n laws bike this evening. Had a nice rig. Big long Dodge van with a big fold up ramp on the back. I fired up his wrecked Superglide and rode it up inside. Really not hurt that bad. I'd say under $2 grand. Really shouldn 't cost that to fix it, but we all know the cost of HD parts and labor. Big bucks!

That's standard operating procedure in corporate America these days. Making normal jobs into contract positions make it so they don't have to pay out benefits. That and all the other things they are doing to 'save the bottom line' makes CEOs look good so they can inflate their own pockets. I consider this a large conflict of interest since if the company goes in the dump, they get a golden parachute to walk out the door. Look at the money some of these guys take home in a year;
