Should make for some interesting racing the next few weeks Jeff. Both Penske cars are way down on points.

Matt is suspended for 2 races, not sure who's gonna be in his car. But, I guess there was some sort of incident involving Danica that was similar to the 20 and the 22 car. She didn't get suspended though.

Just glad that Jeff made it to the final round at Homestead...

Helluva race too. Unfortunately, I didn't see the last half. Just got to see the highlights on Sportscenter....

Pretty wild!

Yeah it was, Lol! I too missed most of the race. I heard at work today Gordon won! Love it! Shame Lagano got taken out by the 20 but their is no love loss right now between those two. These last few races should be great!

Yeah, I watched all 5 segments. Lot's of "mini-races" in each one. Battles for position. But in the last couple, the leaders just ran away from the field.

In the final 10-lap segment, Harvick really didn't have enough to get around Hamlin. He worked his butt off. But just couldn't make it happen.

Did you watch the All Star Race last nite Dave ? I watched the first 2 segments and went to bed. Saw where Hamlin won it this morning.. Gordon was runnnng 3rd when I crashed.. , Kaine had a real strong engine too! Guess they were no match for the no 11.

Well Jr enjoyed a very popular win at Talledega last Sun. He still gets all the cheers when he's up front, Lol! All the talk now for the Kansas race tomorrow is focused around rooking Eric Jones taking over a new ride.. Forget which team he is driving for this week ? I think its the 18 that David Ragan has been driving in Kyle's absence.

I'm not sure either Jeff. But I think you're right...

Kurt Busch may very well win again at Talledega this week. Of course, it may be Harvick, or anyone of the other 41 drivers to lol!Well, for what it's worth, I think that Harvick is a threat to win just about anywhere at this point in his career. He's on a pretty wild hot-streak that seems to have started last season Jeff.

Busch? Yeah, he definitely has a shot at the win too. Stewart-Haas Racing has been doing something right with those two cars lately. I know last week, they started the race with the same set-up.

Now, if SHR could get Tony and Danica running that strong, consistently. The entire team would be a threat. They're all running Hendrick equipment. Its not like his equipment is garbage. Its top-notch stuff.

But, today's race should be good. Jeff is on the pole with Kahne along side him, Junior is 4th and Johnson is 5th starting.

I just wish I could find the complete qualifying order somewhere. NASCAR's site sucks and so does SBNation...

Awe I didn't know he passed away. In the race last Sunday all the teams were holding signs "Stand up for Steve" He was a good guy you could tell from his announcing ways... He will be missed in the Nascar world.

Last nite was the XFinity series nascar race from Texas speedway. First time with Jeff Gordon in the booth. He is a great commentator in my opinion. Tonite he will race with the other drivers in the Sprint Cup race from TX Speedway. Fox televising it I think....

Yeah it would be cool to see Kurt win soon with all the personal problems he has had on and off the track. Larson is a great rookie! Next yr Chase Elliott is to take over the 24 of Gordon. Hard to Jeff is retiring. I do not blame him though. He has nothing left to prove. His kids need him more.

Love the Saturday nite races Dave. Kurt Busch is back and has ran up front the last two races. Kevin Harvick has dominated so far for the first part of the season.

Surprised to see Busch reinstated by NASCAR already. Not sure if he's gonna be back in the 41 or what.

He lost his endorsement from Chevy too. Haven't seen anything on that coming back to him either...

The way I see it he was never found guilty of any crime in any legal court. Just alligations only of spouse abuse. So until proven guilty he is not guilty. Just my opinion.
Can't disagree with ya Jeff...

Night Racing Saturday!
