the guy who wants it called today i explained what happened and i coundn,t sell it for the price i told him. but he was still intersted yet. i couldnt sell it with the belt broken , im glad it broke at home, cause i wouldnt have felt right if it broke 2 days after i sold it

I see.. makes sense. Costly though. Since your selling you could get by with just buying a new belt, but your probably like me I would not feel right selling it without fixing it correctly.

they recomened the sprockets replacement because the highth of the teath and distance between them were greater than specs, and would shorten the life of the new belt jeff.

Why do your sprockets need replaced Weas ? I know mine looked chipped a little, but saw no reason to replace them. Yours must be in bad shape ?

Ouch...That hurts...I replaced a bely a long time ago which was a little over $200.00 at the time...Picked up a stone which went through the belt...I would have never seen it but you could hear the click every time the belt went around...My guess is the sprockets were worn and probably $$$$$...

dont break a belt on your harleys . belt and 2 sprockets 800$. gonna have labor on top of that . probably be homeless after that. :?
