i came across a 2005 Heritage Softail Deluxe with fuel injection. The bike is my favorite non-color....Black. Very cool with all the right accessories. 16000 miles and looks showroom new. Looks great parked next to my outstanding showroom 1980 Ironhead. Since I am a geezer now, I bought it without hesitation. I like the old school look and the low riding position. If I were to describe my perfect bike this is it. I will post a pic.
I should have done this years ago. I guess when you turn 61, and get that weird feeling that riding days and life may soon be over, you just start rewarding yourself for enduring a life of slavery and punishment spending most of your life working with assholes that you have little in common with. I just left a job working for the biggest idiot in my life. A runt that was barely 5 feet tall and hated anyone taller, smarter, and did anything that was cool. In short....ha ha, he hated everyone and made my life hell.
Reward yourself! It feels good. Funny I am unemployed, but didn't think twice about spending money that would just go to health insurance. My heath insurance would be $50k a year if my wife wasn't working too.
