I am both shocked and very sad to hear about Weasle. I believe he was on the board since or close to the beginning. He always checked in and we shared similar health challenges. I don't understand how he fell to a blood clot, I thought he was on anticoagulants like me. I suspect if having surgery, they may suspend those meds. Whatever happened, it really makes me sad to think he will not be present, and sure will be missed.

The BBS has brought together an interesting group of people over the years. It is the only neighborhood that I seem to feel comfort in and never get pissed off. We have grown older together over the 20 years, we lost a few people, some just left, and some have passed away. Those that passed away are riding the King's highway. Someday we will all ride together on that highway.

RIP Weasle, your friendship and visits to the BBS were greatly appreciated.

Broke my heart to hear about Weasle today. I saw the post on FB from Jeff. Weasle and I would meet up when he came to Ft Pierce to see his friends from Ohio. He loved this dive on the beach called Archies. Cold beer and good food. He love to get my goat on my conservative beliefs but still a great guy. I'll miss his visits

Yeah, he was just here a couple months ago. We had a good visit. I talked to his daughter today that was here with him, she said they think it was a blood clot, he was in a rehab facility after he had some surgery for melanoma he had on his arm.

I wondered what actually caused his death. The last chat on here about 3 wks ago was that he was going in for the Melanoma surgery you mentioned Preacher.. So a blood clot was the culprit. Too bad to sad...:(
